Mystically Reborn

Poem Version

At twenty-two, a drop of water fell,
A christening not felt, yet done;
A path untrod, in quiet shadows dwelled,
Unseen the folds of the mystic sun.

Years turned as pages in a silent tome,
Unnurtured by His hands,
Through other realms and faiths I’d roam,
Seeking truth in distant lands.

At fifty springs, at destiny’s behest,
I unplugged from doctrines worn,
Found within Christ’s chest,
A mystic rose, its thorns redeemed by His.

Planted deep in fertile ground,
Where roots of ancient faith entwined,
In its embrace, solace found,
A path of light, previously unworshipped.

Now I see through clearer glass,
That in His book, my name’s been cast,
In lines of life, not shadows past,
For in His love, I’m held steadfast.

God’s plan, a tapestry divine,
Unfolds with threads of grace and time,
Each stitch a purpose, every line,
Guides the heart to the sublime.

Song Version

At twenty-two, a drop of water fell,
A baptism done, but I couldn’t tell.
A path unknown, in shadows stayed,
Where the mystic light had yet to invade.

Years rolled by like pages turned,
In other places, His love I yearned.
Through distant lands, I sought the truth,
Wandering far from my own youth.

Chorus:
Now I’ve found His love so true,
A light that shines, a grace brand new.
In Christ, my heart’s redeemed,
In His arms, I’m finally free.

At fifty years, I changed my ways,
Left old beliefs, found brighter days.
In Christ’s heart, a rose so fair,
Redeemed by His tender care.

Planted deep where faith has grown,
In His love, I’ve found my home.
A path of light, now clearly seen,
In His embrace, I am serene.

Chorus:
Now I’ve found His love so true,
A light that shines, a grace brand new.
In Christ, my heart’s redeemed,
In His arms, I’m finally free.

Now I see with clearer eyes,
In His book, my name survives.
Life’s lines written, shadows gone,
In His love, I’m holding on.

God’s plan unfolds, a perfect design,
With threads of grace through space and time.
Every stitch, a story told,
Guiding hearts with love so bold.

Chorus:
Now I’ve found His love so true,
A light that shines, a grace brand new.
In Christ, my heart’s redeemed,
In His arms, I’m finally free.

In His arms, I’m finally free,
In His love, eternally.
